In July, both sides of the 100m long walk path are filled with numerous flowers of unique Old Roses, English Roses and their scents. Besides the Rose Walk, there are some other places where roses are seen. Floribundas are around the monument at the center of the Floral Square, and Hybrids of Rosa rugosa are along the track of the Lily Train. Moreover, rose species are seen some other places such as around the lawn in fromt of the onservatoriy. In 2000, Canadian roses were plesented by the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada, and a garden of 'Winnipeg Parks' rose joined the Rose Gardens.
